City Hall

City Hall is located at 212 Prairie Street North, Union Springs, Alabama 36089.

City Hall provides a variety of municipal services, including assistance with city business, garbage payments, permits, licenses, records, payments, public meetings, and other city-related matters.

Residents may contact City Hall during regular business hours 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, by phone 334-738-2720, email, or in person.

Payments may be made through the payment options provided by the City. Please contact City Hall for current payment methods, accepted forms of payment, and applicable fees.

City Council meetings are every 1st and 3rd Monday at 6:00 pm in the basement of the Bullock County Courthouse, unless there is a holiday. To be placed on the agenda, attend the Agenda Setting meetings on the 2nd or 4th Tuesday at 6:00 pm at City Hall, 2nd Floor.

Union Springs Police Department

For an emergency requiring immediate police, fire, or medical assistance, call 911.

For non-emergency police matters, contact the Union Springs Police Department at 334-738-3131.

Crimes in progress or emergencies should be reported by calling 911.

Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity to the Police Department. If the situation is an immediate threat or emergency, call 911.

You may obtain an accident report once it has been processed, which takes 7–10 business days. Pick up a copy in person at the Union Springs Police Department during regular business hours or send a written request with a self-addressed stamped envelope and a $10.00 check or money order to The Union Springs Police Department, P.O. Box 549, Union Springs, AL 36089.

Street Department

The Street Department is responsible for maintaining and improving various city-owned streets, rights-of-way, cemeteries, and other public infrastructure within the City's jurisdiction.

Residents can report potholes and roadway concerns to the City so that the location and condition can be evaluated and addressed as resources and priorities allow.

Contact the City to report damaged, missing, or vandalized street signs. Please provide the location and a description of the problem.

Contact the Utilities Board at 334-738-3115 with the location and details of the drainage concern.

Yes. Residents may report maintenance concerns to the City. Requests will be reviewed based on location, severity, safety concerns, available resources, and other city priorities.

Union Springs Community Center

Facility rentals may be available for approved private, civic, community, and organizational events. Contact the Community Center at 334-738-8523 for current availability, rental rates, requirements, and policies.

Contact the appropriate City office to inquire about availability and complete the required rental application and reservation process.

Union Springs Volunteer Fire Department

The Union Springs Volunteer Fire Department provides fire protection and emergency response services to help protect the lives, property, and safety of residents and visitors in our community.

For a fire, medical emergency, accident, or other situation requiring immediate assistance, call 911. Provide the dispatcher with your location and information about the emergency.

You can obtain a copy of a fire report by coming by or calling 334-790-6287.
